Natalie is a recent graduate of the Master’s of Communication program at Hawai‘i Pacific University, and had served as the 2008-2009 President to the
IABC Student Chapter, under the guidance of Dr. Jim Whitfield. Having attended various IABC Hawaii events, at which she often volunteered, she is
ready to take on the welcome challenge of serving as a board member.
Hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Natalie had previously obtained a BFA in Digital Image/Sound & the Fine Arts from Concordia University, as
well as a professional degree in Computer Graphics in Printing and Publishing at the International Academy of Design. Natalie has eight years of
professional experience working within marketing departments as a business communicator and designer for both print and the web and has also had the
opportunity to work overseas with the government in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Fluent in English and French with a working knowledge of Portuguese, in her
spare time, Natalie enjoys drawing, going to the beach, dancing, and engaging in the Brazilian martial art of Capoeira.
